Guided Tour of Kinstone #1: Dragon’s Keep, Chapel, Stone Circle, Three Witnesses

Join Kinstone founder Kristine Beck for a guided walking tour at Kinstone, a modern megalithic attraction. Hear stories of the construction and meaning of the Dragon’s Keep, Chapel of Creation, Great Stone Circle and The Three Witnesses. Count dragons, find a message in a bottle, find the sun, moon and stars in the chapel, hear about celestial alignments with standing stones, and more. This is an outdoor experience. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes for walking on uneven terrain. In the event of stormy weather, the tour will be rescheduled.

Fee: $15/person (includes admission to Kinstone for the day)

Guided Tour of Kinstone #2: Stone Circle, Labyrinth, Dolmen, Serpent

Join Kinstone founder Kristine Beck for a guided walking tour at Kinstone, a modern megalithic attraction. Hear stories of the construction and meaning of the Great Stone Circle, Labyrinth, Dolmen and Serpent. Hear about celestial alignments with standing stones, walk the labyrinth, stand in the dolmen stone chamber and walk the zig-zag path of the snake. NOTE: This tour includes walking down and up steep hills. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes for walking on uneven terrain. In the event of stormy weather, the tour will be rescheduled.

Flintknapping with Robert Kieper

This course introduces the students to the challenging skill of making stone tools . Participants will learn how to craft arrowheads and other stone tools used by our ancestors. A light lunch is served with coffee. Water available or bring your own beverage. Limit 6 students.

Requirements: Bring safety glasses, light leather gloves and three band aids.

Artisan Bread Making with Barefoot Landing Breads

Join Rosemary in learning the lost art of artisanal bread baking. You will have hands on instruction and making 2 loafs of bread: Challah and herbal olive cheese. Maximum number of students is 4.

Scratch Pie Making with Barefoot Landing Breads

Join Rosemary in learning to make from scratch homemade pie. You will have hands on instruction on making a classic apple pie. You will go home with one complete pie plus one or two extra pie crusts.
