The Reserves were in Fountain City just a couple short years ago doing the same type of training. They really enjoyed their time here when off duty and were great patrons to our establishments. Their training was very interesting to watch and they also enjoyed getting to interact with citizens that were there to observe.
Please welcome them back when you see them in May! Go Army!
The dedication will be lead by Mayor, Kevin Hutter, on April 19th, 2016 at 7pm in the lobby of the Fountain City Auditorium. All are welcome.
This is also opening night of the spring production of ‘Crimes of the Heart’ by Beth Henley. Tickets will be available to purchase at the door. Please come out to recognize Judee’s legacy and support the Fountain City River Players for bringing the theater to life in our wonderful little city!
Crimes of the Heart is the Pulitzer Prize winning comedy of three sisters who are each trapped by their past yet together again, help each other to break free and embrace their future. Warm-hearted, irreverent, zany and brilliantly imaginative, the play teems with humanity and humor.
Saturday, January 28th from 11:30am until 2:30pm at the Fountain City Auditorium.
The City of Fountain City is holding a Meet & Greet so our community has to chance to come in and meet the new faces working hard for our community. Open to the public.
The gym supervisor will be responsible for opening and closing facilities. Monitoring open gym participants and possibly providing organized activities.
And another BIG thank you to Bob Secrist, J&M Construction, J&J Rubbish and Waste Transport for donating their services and to Mann Insurance, Suncrest Gardens and Elmer Duellman for donating drinks, food and treats today for our volunteers! And the Fountain City Community Ball Club for their organizing and coordinating the volunteers.
